NGO Custom WordPress - Greater Internet Freedom

The Greater Internet Freedom (GIF) project, led by Internews and funded by USAID, is a global initiative spanning four years, dedicated to safeguarding an open, interoperable, reliable, and secure Internet. It aims to protect individuals, civil society organizations, media outlets, and vulnerable groups who depend on the Internet for fundamental freedoms. GIF pursues its goals by bolstering digital security for civil society and media, as well as promoting citizen engagement in Internet governance. Central to GIF's strategy is the empowerment of regional and local organizations. By placing these entities at the forefront, GIF facilitates the formation of robust networks, enabling them to collaborate with peer organizations globally, acquire technical expertise from international partners, and share valuable insights.

Outsourcify was thrilled to collaborate with this NGO in designing and developing their custom WordPress website. How do we design and develop Custom WordPress website?

WordPress is our expertise, and we’ve been building hundreds of WordPress websites since we started Outsourcify. Requirements workshop: Outsourcify initiated the project by conducting a UX/UI requirements workshop with the NGO, delving into their goals, target audience, and specific requirements for the custom WordPress website.
Design Conceptualization: Our design team crafted a unique visual concept that aligned with the NGO’s brand identity and mission. This phase involved creating wireframes and design mockups for the website layout.
Design Approval: The proposed design was presented to the NGO for review and approval. Any necessary revisions were incorporated to ensure the final design resonated with the client’s vision.
Development Kick-off: Once the design was approved, our development team commenced the coding and implementation phase, bringing the visual concept to life with a focus on WordPress customization to meet the NGO’s unique needs.
Responsive Development: Ensuring a seamless user experience across devices, our developers optimized the website for responsiveness, addressing compatibility and performance on various platforms.
Quality Assurance and Testing: Rigorous testing was conducted to identify and address any bugs, glitches, or inconsistencies. This phase included functional, compatibility, and performance testing to guarantee a smooth user experience.

Installation/Deployment: This step involves in deploying a professional Greater Internet Freedom website after development is completed, including selecting a hosting provider, uploading the website files to the hosting server, configuring the domain name, setting up an SSL certificate, testing the website, and finally launching it!
