Our experience has ranged from excellent to deeply disappointing. We decided to switch the development of one of our key applications to Outsourcify after a change in project…
For Total Training Support Ltd (TTS), Outsourcify carried out the complete rebuild of Club 66 (club66.pro), an established e-learning and community platform dedicated to EASA Part-66 aircraft maintenance licensing. The new system spans three environments — a public WordPress site, a Nuxt.js member portal and a desktop-and-tablet admin panel — all served by a Symfony and MySQL API that replaced the legacy PHP backend, with Stripe powering subscriptions and Brevo handling transactional email.
Results
Challenge
The existing platform had grown organically over years and needed a full refresh without losing what made it valuable to its members: large question banks, structured practice modes and an active community. The business model — mixing monthly and annual subscriptions, organisation site licences, sponsored accounts and a contribution-based reward system — required flexible account and billing logic. At the same time, paid content such as question pools, e-books and interactive courses had to stay firmly protected behind secure authentication.
Solution
We rebuilt the platform around three environments: a public WordPress site (homepage, club information, membership and pricing, legal policies) drives sign-ups, while the Nuxt.js Member Portal and the Admin Panel run on a Symfony and MySQL API. The Question Practice engine covers the 17 EASA Part-66 syllabus modules — including post-Brexit EASA and UK-CAA variants — with four modes: Random, Sequential, Stored questions and timed Part-66 Format simulations that lock navigation and reproduce the official question distribution per licence category. A smart rotation cycles through every question in a pool before recycling any, a free trial exposes a limited question subset across Modules 1 to 9, and a results dashboard reports scores per module and subsection over the last 30 days. The Learning Resource Center combines a Tutor Room forum that alerts each module's subject specialist by email, a digital Library rendering in-house Study Notes and external books as HTML5 flipbooks, and iSpring-powered eLearner courses. A gamified credit system crowd-sources quality: submitting a question, reporting an error or adding a reference URL earns one credit, an essay earns four, and ten credits unlock a free module for one month — awarded automatically on admin approval via the Brevo API. Security includes two-factor authentication, a single-device session lock, and tokenized direct-login links with IP whitelisting so airlines and universities holding site licences can sign their users in from their own networks, with sponsor dashboards to follow their students' results. On the admin side, TTS staff monitor expiring subscriptions and live users, edit the syllabus and question bank with bulk CSV imports, upload iSpring flipbook ZIPs, moderate the forum, review the credit approval queue and configure packages, promotions and ten transactional email templates.

A Public Site That Fills the Classroom
The WordPress site at club66.pro is the platform's storefront: announcements, UK-CAA exam information, a Part-66 licence quick reference and testimonials feed a clear path towards membership. Personal and corporate pricing — from a free starter tier to modular monthly passes and yearly plans — leads straight into the member portal's checkout, backed by the compliance pages (privacy, terms, equal opportunities and quality policies) a UK training provider must publish. The platform advertises more than 20,000 practice questions across the Part-66 syllabus.

Question Practice Tuned to the Licence
Before starting a session, members shape it precisely: pick a licence category (A, B1/B3, B2/B2L, C1 or C3), tick the subsections to revise — each showing its live question count — then choose the exam mode, the number of questions and whether to include essay questions for Part-66 format runs. Four modes cover every study style: Random, Sequential, Stored questions (a personal bank of marked questions to retake in one click) and timed Part-66 simulations reproducing the official distribution and locked navigation. A smart rotation cycles through the whole pool before recycling any question.

Results That Feed the Question Bank
Every test ends in a result breakdown: score, per-subsection detail and the full question list with the correct answers and their supporting material. From the same screen members feed the platform back — storing a question for later, reporting an error or sending a reference from the WWW or official manuals. Each published contribution earns one membership credit (an essay earns four), and ten credits unlock a free module for a month — a gamified loop that crowd-sources the verification of the question bank while rewarding the most engaged members.

A Learning Resource Center in Three Rooms
Each module opens into a Learning Resource Center with three tabs. The Tutorial Room is a threaded forum organised by syllabus subsection, where new posts alert the module's subject specialist by email. The Library renders proprietary TTS Study Notes and external books as searchable HTML5 flipbooks. And eLearner streams iSpring-built interactive courses — slides, quizzes and worksheets — through secure loaders that keep paid content from being downloaded or copied.

Memberships as Flexible as the Syllabus
The billing model mirrors how engineers actually study: one module at a time, over a long period. Flex passes offer 24 months of active use with the option to pause for a month or more and to switch modules every two weeks, in single or dual-module variants, with or without Learning Resource Centre access. Monthly and yearly passes, organisation site licences and sponsored accounts round out the catalogue, all billed through Stripe with automated invoicing and transactional email via Brevo.

An Admin Panel Built for Operations
TTS staff run the whole business from a desktop-and-tablet admin panel. The dashboard graphs active subscriptions per module and members by plan, and surfaces what needs attention today: expiring subscriptions, suspended users, the last members online and multiple-IP login warnings that catch credential sharing. Behind it sit the content tools — module and subsection CRUD, bulk CSV question imports, e-book and eLearner ZIP uploads, forum moderation and the credit approval queue that pays out contributions automatically through the Brevo API.
