Laravel is a free, open-source PHP web framework intended for the development of web applications following the model–view–controller (MVC) architectural pattern.
It has a lot of similarities with the Symfony framework, we went through the slight differences between both PHP frameworks in an article from our blog: Differences between Laravel and Symfony, and why we prefer the latter. As explained in this article, if we prefer usually Symfony, we also use Laravel when requested by a client, usually when we have to intervene on a preexisting Laravel web app.
A more detailed description of our experience and use of Laravel is coming soon.
