After a decade of crafting digital experiences, collaborating with clients around the globe, and building a team that feels more like a family than a corporate machine, we naturally ask ourselves: what’s next?

We’ve told our story — how Outsourcify came to life in Bangkok, grew organically, navigated changes in the tech landscape, and remained proudly independent. But this last article in our anniversary series isn’t about the past. It’s about the road ahead.

Bangkok, Then and Now

When we launched Outsourcify, Bangkok’s tech ecosystem was still finding its shape. Today, it’s a fast-moving, competitive, and increasingly international scene. We’ve seen foreign-founded agencies spring up, Thai startups scale fast, and a constant tug-of-war for top-tier design and development talent.

Some agencies we knew grew quickly — a few backed by investment, some scaling to hundreds of employees. Some succeeded. Others, unfortunately, grew too fast and collapsed under pressure. We learned early on that rapid growth isn’t always smart growth.

Staying Independent, Staying Human

One of the biggest lessons from the past 10 years? Growth for the sake of growth has never been our goal. We’ve chosen a different path — one grounded in intentional, sustainable growth.

Outsourcify is managed by us, a couple who built the company from the ground up. That’s not just a footnote — it defines how we operate. Every decision goes through us. Every person on the team matters. We’ve grown to nearly 45 people at some point (if we include interns), but we realized that our sweet spot is closer to 35-40. That size allows us to keep things personal, maintain quality, and still take on big, ambitious projects. It allows us to stay connected, prioritize quality over volume, and offer a more human experience — for our clients and our team alike.

To scale beyond that would mean transforming Outsourcify into something else — with layers of management, KPIs, board meetings, and corporate hierarchies. For the moment, that’s not the future we’re chasing.

Evolving the Business Model: from Service Provider to Strategic Partner

While our size may remain stable, our model continues to evolve. Over the last few years, we’ve increasingly moved from being a pure service provider to being more of a partner to our clients. In some cases, we’ve invested in the projects we’ve helped build. In others, we’ve accepted equity instead of cash — because we believe in the product, the founders, and the long-term vision.

This hybrid model — between a web agency and a startup studio — is something we plan to develop further. It allows us to be selective with the projects we take on and to work closely with passionate founders on ideas that excite us.

At the same time, we’ve begun launching our own in-house products. One of them, Aroi Restaurants, is a restaurant reservation platform we’ve been building for over a year, after obtaining the partnership with Reserve With Google. It’s not just a tech product — it’s also a growing food media and directory that we aim to expand across Thailand. Aroi Restaurants has opened the door to new industries, new networks, and a fresh way for us to think about product design, marketing, and business development.

Embracing Emerging Technologies (Selectively)

Everyone talks about AI, automation and the rest of the buzzwords. We’re paying attention — but we’re also not jumping on every trend just to say we did.

Our philosophy has always been to adopt new technologies when they make sense for our clients and our team. That means keeping an eye on things like AI-assisted development, headless CMS architectures, performance-focused web tech like Astro or Remix, and cross-platform tools like Flutter — but always with a critical eye.

Our goal is not to be the first to use something — but to be the best at using it when the time is right.

Southeast Asia: Our Base, Our Future

We’ve been in Bangkok for over a decade, and the local tech scene has changed a lot. As Southeast Asia continues to grow in global importance, we see Outsourcify playing a key role as a bridge agency — helping Western companies localize, launch, and thrive in ASEAN markets. With our deep regional knowledge, multilingual team, and international mindset, we’re perfectly positioned to guide businesses looking to expand eastward.

Thailand — and Bangkok specifically — remains our home base. It offers the right mix of cost efficiency, lifestyle quality, and access to talent. And we’re proud to be part of its thriving tech and expat network.

We’ve also seen more and more people come to Thailand to build their lives — some staying for a few years, others putting down long-term roots. We believe Southeast Asia will continue to grow as a hub for digital business, and Bangkok remains the ideal base for us.

That said, most of our clients are international, and that will remain true. We’ve built a strong reputation among clients in Europe, the US, and Australia — and our growth continues to be fueled by referrals and returning partners.

Looking Forward (Not Back)

If there’s one thing we can say with confidence, it’s that we don’t waste much time looking in the rearview mirror. There are no major regrets. Sure, we’ve made mistakes, but every one of them taught us something.

We’ve learned to say no more often. We’ve learned that slow and steady is often smarter than chasing growth. And we’ve learned that the most rewarding part of running Outsourcify isn’t winning awards or hitting revenue targets — it’s seeing our team thrive, watching ideas become real, and knowing we built something meaningful.

Our Pillars for the Next 10 Years

  1. People First, Always: Our team has always been at the heart of Outsourcify. That won’t change. We’ve learned that flexibility matters (our hybrid model offers remote work two days per week), but so does in-person collaboration — especially for creative brainstorming and mentoring younger team members.
We’ll keep investing in people, offering room to grow, and focusing on long-term retention over short-term hires. Whether it’s a birthday covered in post-its or an intern evolving into a lead developer, it’s the people that make this work rewarding.
  2. Smart, Sustainable Projects: We plan to launch more internal products. Tools that solve real regional pain points and let us take full control of the product lifecycle — from UX to monetization.
We’ll also take on more equity-based projects with founders and startups we believe in. Sharing risk means sharing purpose — and that’s a future we’re excited to build.
  3. Quality Over Quantity: We’re not chasing headcount. We’re chasing impact. We’d rather stay the size we are and keep delivering high-quality work than scale for the sake of appearances. Every line of code, every design sprint, every product launch matters.
  4. Tech That’s Meaningful: From AI to green tech, we’ll expand selectively into new service areas where we can make a real difference. Expect more data-driven insights, smarter process automation, and consulting services that go beyond development.

A Final Word

The next 10 years? We can’t predict everything. But we know a few things for sure:

  • We’ll stay independent.
  • We’ll keep evolving.
  • We’ll continue building long-term partnerships with people and projects we believe in.
  • And we’ll never stop learning.

As we conclude this series, we reflect with pride on the strong, dedicated team we’ve built and look forward to the innovations and achievements still ahead.

Thank you for joining us in exploring our journey and insights over transformative years at Outsourcify.
