S2M is a global B2B marketing agency fully integrated and designed to help companies with complex B2B propositions. Our primary goal was to focus the User Experience design on their current audience by turning the website's UX to a 'storytelling' structure, and yet by keeping a very professional and B2B oriented look and feel.

S2M reached us with the request of redesigning their website in order to update it for a more professional user-experience and more trendy user-interface. We offered to design the structure that helps the potential customers understand obviously what S2M does and what they offer.

As a first phase before working on UX and UI topics, we had a workshop with S2M stakeholders to better understand their business and analyze their current audience and competitors. This analysis always helps a lot in order to build a strong basis for the whole project. This way it can start smoothly and fast.

A new design for a better user-flow

The user-flow of the previous website was difficult. It was hard for a user to understand precisely what the company is about but most importantly hard to see proofs and case studies of their actual work. For a business as such that is targeting high profile B2B companies, it’s important to have a well presented and professional portfolio; not necessarily a big portfolio, but a very organized and coherent one with proof of their work and results.
We created a simple-to-navigate site following our ‘story-telling’ layout which considers users’ perspective and still shows a very coherent information architecture.

Conveying the story of S2M through UI design.

Design conveys a story to audiences. Our aim was to convey the story and work quality of S2M clearly and convincingly and help users to trust their services. By using colors, fonts and any other design components like gimmicks reflecting the image of the corporation, we kept trying to present consistent continuous storytelling to users.

Summary

S2M redesign was a great challenge – a design process that needed to combine different atmospheres:
a clear and modern storytelling website at the same time as displaying a big amount of rather complex and very targeted information.
This information being destined to high profile B2B corporations, the storytelling website needed to reflect as clearly as possible the proof of their complex and reliable services.
