The Evolution of Outsourcify’s Company Culture
At Outsourcify, our journey has never been about chasing a corporate image. It’s been about building a work environment where people feel good coming in every day, where collaboration flows naturally, and where work and life aren’t treated as opposites.
This article is less about business strategy and more about what it’s actually like to be part of our team.

How It All Started
We didn’t launch Outsourcify from a shiny office. In fact, it all began in a small condo in Jomtien. From there, we moved to a three-bedroom condo in Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 16—two bedrooms turned into office rooms, and the living room became the informal common area where ideas were shared over coffee or shared dinners.
The real turning point came when we moved into a 450-square-metre, four-storey townhouse in Chicha Castle, at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 31. One room at a time, bedrooms became offices. Despite the growing number of desks and screens, the place never stopped feeling like a home. People ate together, stayed after work, and we often ordered Moo Kratha—Thai barbecue—for dinner.
Not kidding, it really was a castle with a moat and a drawbridge.
After a couple of years, when we welcomed our first child, we moved to a condo nearby. The townhouse became solely an office, although interns occasionally stayed there too.
Right before the pandemic hit, we moved into a proper office tower in Thonglor—a milestone for us, and where we still are today. But even in that new, more polished space, we tried to keep the same spirit. Not just the layout, but the energy. Comfortable, collaborative, and relaxed.
Shoes Off, Lunch Together
One thing that’s never changed: we all take our shoes off at the door. It’s a small gesture, rooted in Thai culture, but it sets the tone. The office isn’t a sterile, formal space—it’s a shared space where people feel at ease.
Most of the team eats lunch at the office. We use a dedicated lunch delivery app for companies, and it’s become part of our daily routine. Meals arrive, people gather around tables, catch up, and share stories. It’s something we value a lot—those everyday moments that make work more than just tasks on a screen.
Trips, Parties, and Shared Memories
Over the years, we’ve organized company trips to places like Koh Chang, Krabi, Pattaya, and Kanchanaburi. Whether it’s a boat ride, beach barbecue, or karaoke night, these trips have created shared memories that strengthen the team beyond work.

We also host regular parties at the office or outside. Nothing fancy or forced—just a chance to enjoy good food and time together.
A Young Team That Grows Together
Most of the team is in their mid-20s to mid-30s. The founders are a little older, as are a Finnish senior developer and our QA lead, who studied in the same programme as Kwan. The age mix gives junior people experienced colleagues to ask while keeping the office energetic.
While we naturally take on a leadership role, we’ve never wanted to impose a formal hierarchy. People know who to talk to when decisions need to be made, but in day-to-day work, it’s more about collaboration than chain of command. We all talk directly, share feedback freely, and try to keep things simple.
No Dress Code, No Drama
We don’t stress over clothes; you’ll often see me in shorts at the office. We care more about reliable work and consideration for the rest of the team than looking corporate. Our admin team may dispute my relaxed interpretation of the schedule—and they would probably be right.
Still Us, Just a Bit More Grown-Up
Even as the company has grown, we have tried to keep the atmosphere of our early days working from home. Now that we work in an office building, the aim is not to recreate the past. It is to keep what mattered: trust, comfort and the habit of talking to one another directly.
Our culture grew with us, from one condo to another and finally into an office that still feels a little like home.
